Bob Fisher Memorial Scholarship
Bob Fisher was a great Southern Oregon community member. He was a hard worker, devoted to his family, friends and to the youth of our community. Bob was a 4-H leader for nearly 60 years in the Upper Rogue area, as well as a devoted FFA advocate, providing opportunity, love and encouragement to literally thousands of young people. In his mentoring, Bob always taught his students to be honest, hard-working, and kind. Bob and his wife had a passion for the western way of life. The loss to the logging, ranching and horse communities was a great loss, however, perhaps the greatest loss is to the youth of our area – in that they will not get to know this phenomenal man.
